Ladies: Are You Ready For 2017?

I AM SOOOO EXCITED ABOUT ALL THE GOOD THINGS TO COME

When it comes to making New Year’s resolutions/goal setting in January, many women have given up on trying getting results by the middle of the month. I believe this has something to do with a lack of support, setting unrealistic goals and the inability to believe they can actually have what they want.

Sound familiar?

Regardless of what has occurred in the past, I believe that if you really want to achieve a particular goal then you should commit & do whatever it takes to make it happen. Oh I can hear you already, but if it was that easy Nofisa… I know, that is why I am writing this blog post today. I do not want you to go into another year experiencing the same disappointments, getting nowhere closer to your goals and feeling like giving up.

I have created 5 Steps that will help you step in to 2017 feeling clear, confident and ready to achieve the goals that have previously had you beaten. First, I want you to do me a favour…?

I ask that you begin with an open mind, a willingness to do things differently to achieve different results and to take 100% responsibility for your life from this day on. If you can do that #LetsBegin

Step One: DARE 2 DREAM

In 2017, if you have previously set goals that do not stretch and allow you to become better, I dare you to dream bigger. I dare you to set goals that scare you over the next 12 months, because who you will become in the process will be worth it.

I have recently coached a number of women who have all  mentioned a fear of setting goals because they are afraid to fail/do not believe it is possible, so don’t even bother. In my opinion that is crazy self-talk because what if you took MASSIVE action and you actually achieved or came pretty close to having all that you desire.

If you are not big on writing or talking about what you want, for this exercise, put that aside. In 2017 throw the rules out the window and set bigger goals (not unrealistic), but take the goal a few steps from where you are now.

Do you want to double your income in 1 year?

Leave your full time job and FINALLY begin that passion-based business?

Are you ready to write and publish your book?

Or maybe you want to take 4 holidays in the next 12 months…

**Take Action Today**

Create your top 10 goals for the 2017. Do not stop there, to keep them at the forefront of your mind, write them down daily or at least weekly. Get in the habit of knowing exactly what you want and writing them down every day creates laser focus.

Step Two: BELIEVE that what you want, wants you

I have come to realise that more often than not, you get what you expect. Can you see why it is so important to expect to achieve the goals you set for yourself; you have to expect to win.

The key thing here is to let go of past negative experiences. For example, if you have previously struggled with your diet but are determined to achieve your desired weight loss goal in the next 12 months, don’t keep saying to yourself well I always give up or it will never happen. EXPECT TO WIN. Create a new experience where you are consistently taking the necessary action to get the result you want. Once you begin to achieve these small successes, you have new positive experiences, which will help you to feel more confident that what you want is actually possible.

**Take Action Today**

Previous negative experiences can often block us from moving towards our goals as we constantly recreate these situations and experience in our head. Today, it is time to let go and forgive the people around you that have played a role in creating these limiting beliefs/stories you hold on to so tight. Check out EFT for forgiveness on YouTube. I learnt this from Denise Duffield-Thomas and you can use this strategy to begin forgiving those around you, so you have the energy to go after your dreams.

Step Three: ACTION will bring your desires into existence

So now, the time comes to turn your dreams to reality and ACTION (consistently) is the missing link between those who merely wish for things and those who manifest their desires. So, if you are committed to making 2017 a year where consistent progress is your theme, you will have to take consistent action.

2016 taught me that the more action you take towards a goal, the more your confidence increases, which then pushes you to continue taking massive action. Here is the perfect time for me to mention that you do not have to wait for perfect conditions, to have your website finished, to have business cards, or whatever it is you are telling yourself that stops you from taking action. JUST GET STARTED, wherever you are on your journey.

 

**Take Action Today**

This last step is a lot easier than we think, but it is also the part in the process that causes so much overwhelm and unnecessary drama. Are you ready for that to end?

For each goal that you wrote down in step one, write down 10 ways, you can make it happen and then pick one of the action points and begin at once. I will say it again, now you are clear on your goal and your goal and you believe it is possible, just get started and watch how the universe will rearrange things to help you get what you desire. Stick with the process, I believe in you.
